Kris Reinhard, General Manager & Partner
Kris leads the company's catering and events division as general manager. He enjoys the challenge of developing a creative and professional staff-the foundation of exceptional events. Kris began his career with Fifth Group Restaurants in 1993 as kitchen manager of South City Kitchen and joined the partnership in 1996. Prior to coming to Atlanta, Kris was on the staff of Magnolia's in Charleston, S.C.




  Todd Annis, Executive Chef
Todd is one of the city’s most talented young chefs and has been active in Atlanta’s culinary scene for more than 15 years. Prior to joining the Bold American team, he spent four years creating a modern collection of inspired, American regional cuisine as executive chef at Rainwater in Alpharetta. Previously serving as the executive chef of Araxi, a former successful restaurant in Roswell, Todd enjoyed his teaching role at the Art Institute of Atlanta, where he instructed in American regional cuisine in his former school’s culinary division. He also served as executive chef at Carbo’s Café for four years prior to his arrival at Araxi. A member of the American Culinary Federation, Todd was awarded the International Award of Excellence in June 1996 and was a Gold Medalist in the 1995 Battle of Atlanta.



  Stacy Zeigler , Director of Sales
Stacy joined the BAC team from Atlanta’s Ritz-Carlton, where she worked her way up from a catering assistant in 1994 to her most recent position, director of catering and conference services. A graduate of the University of Miami, Stacy has been an active member of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) since 2000, where she currently serves as vice president of the National Chapters Council, a position she took after leading Atlanta to “Chapter of the Year” in 2003. At BAC, Stacy leads the catering sales department in all aspects of event planning and client relations, helping BAC on its path to becoming Atlanta’s premier catering company.



  Steve Bales, Creative Director
Steve is responsible for all of the company's event design and concepting. He loves being able to help clients create extraordinary atmospheres that leave a long lasting impression of their event on each guest. Before joining Fifth Group, Steve worked in the events industry for the United Way in Atlanta and Indianapolis. Steve has won four Allie awards as well as has been nominated as the 2004 Non-Profit Event Planner of the Year by Event Solutions Magazine. Steve serves as vice president of Membership for the Atlanta Chapter of the International Special Events Society.



  Laurie Smith, Director of Catering Services
Laurie is responsible for the warm and meticulous levels of service offered at Bold American Catering. With 20 years of hospitality management experience, Laurie spent twelve years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, working in Department Head and Director level roles at the world renowned, The Ritz Carlton, Naples, The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta and The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. As a result of Laurie’s passion for service and quality , she was selected as part of a special team to train staff in preparation for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award (Ritz-Carlton was honored with this prestigious award in 1992 and again in 1999) In addition Laurie served on international hotel opening teams including Hong Kong and Cancun, Mexico. Laurie is originally from Evergreen, Colorado and is a graduate of the University of Denver.
